Role Outline:

Responsible for the management and development of the National Service Delivery Operation for the EDF Energy FFSP contract, ensuring that it meets customer and company requirements in respect of service levels and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the on the job management and control and development of the EDF Energy FFSP contract and ensure that all parties understand and operate to contract service requirements and company agreements, policies and procedures
  • Understanding in detail the contractual KPI’s and MDS’ s own operational plan, and ensuring the two align
  • Monitoring all aspects of operational performance against plan and contractual KPI’s e. onboarding, headcount, productivity, attrition, H&S

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Morrison Data Services for a dedicated and passionate Technical Trainer to be at the forefront of our business growth and continued development. The successful candidate for the role will work alongside the Technical Training and Compliance Team, reporting directly to the manager and will be required to support a national field team.

The role will involve the delivery of a variety of training from technical / practical through to soft skills, tailored for a variety of learning styles and needs alongside providing onsite coaching and support when required. There is a requirement to aid the design and delivery of the training material and ensure continual review and amend alongside industry changes and so accuracy and flare for design is essential.

The ideal candidate must be willing and able to travel and remain flexible in their working hours with an ability to manage their own workload and priorities to meet the business needs.  There will be a requirement for self-development and learning which will require dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver variety training packages from soft skills through to technical
  • Provide onsite coaching and support for reinstatement following stand downs
  • Provide corrective actions in training
  • Deliver company induction and tablet training
  • Support future training needs of MDS around SMETs 2 and DCC
  • Training material design and development
  • Quality and assurance of external training / assessment providers

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Technically competent holding gas qualified to min level CMA1/MET1 ideally for a period of 5 years or more although consideration will be given to less.
  • Advantageous to hold or have experience of MOCOPA
  • NSAP / EUSR registration
  • Experienced in smart installations and onsite customer experience
  • Clear communication skills
  • Accurate written skills
  • Confident with use excel, word and power point

We are seeking a Dual Fuel Meter Engineer based in Cheshire to join its expanding team. You will receive 20 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, company van, fuel card, tools and uniform and a company phone / tablet.

With the roll out of smart meters, its team of Smart Meter Engineers is instrumental in delivering contractual service levels, whilst complying with technical, safety and regulatory requirements.

As a Dual Fuel Meter Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Installing and exchanging gas and electric meters in a variety of premises issued via tablets.
  • Completing prescribed testing in line with industry standards and codes of practice.
  • Collecting and depositing electric and gas meters from the designated storage facility.
  • Completing all relevant associated administrative work.
  • Assisting locksmith and a debt representative to ensure safe completion of warrant jobs.
  • Other duties may be undertaken as and when required, in particular when new business is gained.
  • Achieving and exceeding work performance targets and adhere to health and safety procedures, industry standards and codes of practice.

To be a successful Dual Fuel Meter Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Gas Safe – CCN1 / MET1 or CMA1 / MET1; MOCOPA – at least 1phWC.
  • Track record of accurately and safely installing gas and electric meters.
  • Possession of a current LVCO authorisation for the DNO network.
  • REGT1 qualification; Qualified and experienced installing Single ph, 3ph & CT meters.

In return, the Dual Fuel Meter Engineer will receive a salary of £33,000 OTE per annum.
