Water Meter Reading – Business Stream’s Partner of the Year 2021

BACKGROUND

Business Stream have been a client since 2008. We provide business critical services in meter reading throughout England and Scotland.  

In 2021, we signed new 4-year contract renewal, that covered their customer base in the Southern Water region that we had not previously operated in. This enabled us to continue our business relationship and build on an already successful partnership. 

REQUIREMENTS

Following the award of the contract, we noticed that there was scope to further enhance the visit and read performance levels for their customer base within the Southern Water region.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

Working with the transferred meter readers, we undertook training to show them the Morrison Data Services approach to meter reading and our policies and procedures.   

Following a brief period of service implementation, we were able to significantly improve key performance levels in the Southern Water region, this included:

These improvements in service levels has had a positive impact on Business Stream. It has enhanced bill accuracy, improved customer service levels and reduced any potential exposure to market code fines. 

Our quality service and pro-active approach to collaborative working, meant we were awarded with Business Stream’s Partner of the Year 2021.
